A neighbor complimented me the other day, saying that I have "great skin for a 'senior'" When I got over being called (truthfully) a "Senior", I was okay. When she asked what I use in my face care routine, I rattled off a list of products, which made her laugh.
My skincare products?
- African black soap for my torso always and occasionally for my face & neck.
- Baobab oil (from the African Baobab) for my face and hair.
- Greek Bliss oil for my face & scalp and Greek Bliss soap for my torso.
- Kikumasamune Moisturizing Skin Lotion Toner (from Japan) for my face, torso, and feet.
- German-made Nivea for my face, body, and feet.
I never thought about it until my neighbor teased that I have "international" skin.
Seriously, though, you must get out of your cultural comfort zones when it comes to skincare.
Peace
